Our Institute In FLAMINGO

On the Guanacaste coast, it is the perfect location for beach lovers. The white sands and blue waters are irresistible, and students have the unique opportunity to study Spanish and vacation at the same time. Flamingo is located 6 hours by bus from San José.

a) General Information

We strongly recommend the homestay option as a complement to language studies as it provides the opportunity to apply the material learned in class. Additionally, the homestay experience is a cultural conduit to better understanding and insight into the daily life of a typical family.

Yet we recognize that living with a host family is not for everyone. The list of lodging options below are in the recommended accommodations. You may stay in a hotel or apartment the entire time or combine the homestay with other alternatives at each campus.

b) In FLAMINGO

The studio apartments and the villas are located at the Villaggio Flor del Pacífico Hotel in the town of Potrero beach, just a few minutes away from the beach and 20 minutes away from Flamingo campus by car. Our institute offers free transportation to the school every day. The guest enjoys the following amenities: swimming pool, restaurant. supermarket, internet, ice cream parlor, and wireless.

If you choose to walk, the distance is around 2 km or 45 minutes from Flamingo campus to these accommodations along the beach.

The studio apartment (single and shared) includes: a/c, hot water, telephone (local and income calls), refrigerator, kitchen appliances such as microwave, blender, coffee maker, kitchenware; one room with two single beds or one double bed, bedding and towels, closets, table, living room, full bathroom. laundry service is included once a week, rooms are cleaned everyday.

A reservation starts on Sunday and ends on Sunday. To start or finish on different days, the extra night charge is applied. With four extra nights or more, the full week price applies.

Villas are designed for a maximum of 4 people (2 rooms) and each room has either a double bed or two twin beds. They are fully-equipped.

All villas have air conditioning, laundry service is included once a week, rooms are cleaned everyday.
